Guitar:
The Roman numberals over the notes are used for
fingering. "I" is your Index Finger. "II" is your Middle
Finger. "III" Is your Ring Finger. "IV" is your Pinky
Finger.
Chord Fingerings Are as follows.
"N", Means dont put a finger down.
It goes from top to bottom. Example: Say a chord in
here:

G|-7
D|-7
A|-5
D|---
and the numbering was I, III, III. The "I"(Index) would
go on the 5 and both "III"(Ring) would go on the 7's.
MUTED Chord Fingerings:

The fingering for this would be I, Ix, III
"I" would go on the 5. "Ix" means you bring the "I"
finger Up just a bit over this string, thereby muting the
String the muted note is on. Then the "III" would go on
the 7.
