Lyrics
The texture of the soul is a liquid that casts a vermillion flood
From a wound carved as an oath, it fills the river bank a sanguine fog
These arms were meant to be lost
Hacked, severed and forgotten
The texture of time is a whisper that echoes across the flood
It's hymn resonates from tree to tree through every sullen bough it sings
These boughs were said to be lost
Torn, unearthed and broken
Earth to flesh, flesh to wood
Cast these limbs into the water
Flesh to wood, wood to stone
Cast this stone into the water
Notice
A fuckload of work went into this, so I hope you like it.
I used the original tab of Deimos & mates, hope they
won't mind. Although their tab wasn't flawless, it
provided a great basis. I added drums and some
missing guitar parts, correcting the sections I thought
were wrong. The song is actually in D tuning (at least
that's how they play it live), but since it can be played
just as well in Drop D, I left it as it was in the old tab.
Of course it might not be 100% accurate (especially
the bass and rhythm guitar parts because of their
muddiness), so if you find anything, feel free to contact
me with any comments on the e-mail address given
above.
I added the lyrics of this grand song after the credits of
the original tab.
If you see Agalloch, please tell them to come to
Hungary.
Take care!
